A fun game but needs some balancing. Music gets repetitive.
Tips for beginners:
Don't send out too many search parties because you loose very often important survivors.
Always aim for the heads!

Your start weapon is quite good, you can replace it by a hunting rifle which is only little improvment.
Mp5, ingram and pistol are quite weak.
AK47 and M4A1 are very good weapons in semi automatic mode (aim for the heads)
SCAR is a bad weapon (too much recoil and not magazine capacity).
Grenade Launcher is far too weak and doesnt help you at all.
Machine gun is the best, but you have to avoid continous fire. Small bursts of 1-2 shots into heads are more effective.

Fun game ... too easy for me

Yeah it was fun, it looks kinda similar like zomibe vs. planzs ... with two rows of basic infatry and two or 3 rows of archers they have nearly no chance.

Great game, but difficulty can differ strongly

This game is very addicting. Sounds are cool, graphics are only ok, but it's functional. Notes create good atmosphere.

I played first time on normal and won (i discovered 3 different endings). Tutorial was good (without it you don'T stand a chance first time).
The beginning is easy, than it gets slowly more and more difficult while your territory is expanding (difficulty to progress ratio is good) but at an certain point your fort will become unbeatable. You will have so many soldiers,that zombies just don't stand a chance. But at that end you have enough firepower to easily achieve two of the 3 endings.

Resarch helps, as soon as you have a school this game becomes much easier.

All in all it is a good and addictive game. Next time with better graphics and a slighty improved interface (it can be get quite tricky at 30+ men) will boost it into the best games of all time. Nevertheless, this game is already awesome!

Nice idea, but space for improvment

Idea is no new but still cool,
Graphic is ok,
Sound is repetive and gets boring or disturbing after a short while,
gameplay is good, try again buton is nice idea

Story is nice, but there is only one way to survive. This is annoying because in the middle of the game you have to choose either to go Union or to St. Clara. As a European have no possibilty to know on which way you might survive. And the other one is a certain death trap (No I wont tell you whcih one :-P ). This is annoying, I want to survive by wise decisions, not sheer luck.

All in all a decent game.

Like Toss the turtle

Well it's a copy of Toss the turtle ... a worse copy. I liked the guns you had in TtT, here you don't have one, a controllable glider is cool, but there are so many things in the air that you wont get far with it.

Overall a decent game ... but Toss the Turtle is just better!

Not awesome, but VERY FUN!

Scenario: 5/5
Nice scenario for tower defense. Finally something new and not the fantasy/space/zombie standard. It is even better when you know the "Richard Sharp" books by Cornwell ;-).

Sound:5/5
Very atmospheric music! The sound of muskets wasn't entirely realitstic but it's okay for flash. I will give 5/5 because of awesome music.

Graphic:4/5
The graphic is fixed on usability which is good! Everything looks clear and you never loose overview. Menu and interface design is good and clear. There are not so many special effects and the menu could look even more like old paper. But still color scheme is good and fits to scenario.

Gameplay:5/5
It is fun. Otherwise I wouldn't have made such a long review ;-). The upgrading system is good and you have everything to build up a nice base. Also nice units.

Balancing:3/5
It can be hard at the beginning (though I had never problems with British against anyone), but later on it becomes too easy because of the Achievments. With a double row of green coats nothing comes through. Also the second "hard"map was actually quite easy since it had only one direction of attack. I liked the achivments but please leave the bonuses next time. In my opinion it would have been better, if each map has easy/med/hard mode with different unit and building costs.

Style: 3/5
I like this game, really I do. But there are seldom wow-factors or close runs. It was not challenging enough for me and there weren't really dramatic moments.
It is a very solid game and maybe if there will be "hard" mod i will surely play it again.

Ideas for next time:
-Adding attacking artillery would be nice. And cavallery.
- It could be fun to lead cavallery counter attack as defenders ^^
-A campagn with story would be awesome! I certainly missed that.

Awesome game

Just managed it in hard ... and it was hard ;-)

I like the concept of the game, also the minigames are suiting fine (i like expecially the taunting idea ;-)).

For next version I would also like vertical flanking attacks.

Also difficulty is not properly distributed, because first level is much harder than second and third level to win. Especially on hard you will see this.

All in all an awesome game and I am looking to next version ^^.

I looks good, but there is no strategy ...

Well if it would be only graphic and presentation you would get immediately 10/10.

But in my opinion the gameplay sucks. The idea is good, but there is no visible effect in the different kind of units. It just constructing as many units as fast as possible and let them charge to the enemy. You get more than enough money to unit spam and the tricky part is to survive the first 30 seconds, where enemy has money advantage.

And there is no visible scissor, rock, paper principe which would make me thing which unit to produce. You have put many units in this game, but they all feel like cannon-fodder.
Since you have more than enough money you can produce all units at the same time without problems.

Also a pity that you cannot use aircraft/landunits/sea units togehter in a battle. It could have been fun.

So this time only 5/10

Nice idea, but unbalanced

Well here a short review:
graphic: 8/10 it's nice and supports the atmosphere.
Sound: 7/10 effects are average but background music is good
gameplay: 6/10 it plays a bit like tower defense,but balancing problems are disturbing

Martial Arts, Home recording, Improvisation theater, all is said ;-)
